Purchasing signed TWICE merch online - read this to avoid buying fakes
Share
We've been seeing a lot of signed TWICE albums up for sale on sites such as Vinted or eBay. And oftentimes these albums don't have much to indicate whether the album is a legitimate signature or not. So we've compiled some steps to help you make sure you're buying the real article!
- Promotional signed K-pop albums will always have a 비매 (not for sale) on the KOMCA sticker, which is placed over the barcode.
- The stamp number can be entered at the KOMCA website to authenticate the album.
- If an item was signed at a fansign, there will never be a plain signature. All winners/participants will have the message written by the artist, addressed to them, most likely on a page inside the album photobook, corresponding to the member who is doing the signature. Examples:

- Some lucky draw prizes may have the member's signature on the front of the album.
- Please be aware when comparing printed signatures, such as those on mass-produced photocards, to those that are handwritten.
- Finally, if you're ever in doubt, please do not buy. If you feel like the seller is being pushy, has low feedback/ratings, or anything seems off, don't ever feel pressured into making a purchase.

Some in-depth points from @zlfk1:
- Lucky draw albums are relatively new; TWICE started doing them around 2024. These are type-c, which would mean if you were looking to purchase, you should ask for proof such as the signed album card, which would look something like this
- The most common fakes seem to be lucky draw albums since only one member signs these.
